SNV and IDB-MIF support Inclusive Business Development:SNV and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) through its Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) have a strategic partnership to create economic opportunities for the low-income majority in Ecuador and Peru.

MIF finances two cooperation projects which target Inclusive Business development at the base of the economic pyramid, boosting income and employment levels. Both projects incorporate low-income entrepreneurs into the value chains of private-sector enterprises.
An autonomous fund administered by the IDB, MIF promotes the development of micro and small enterprises in Latin America and the Caribbean.

SNV has an alliance with Monitor Institute to design and jointly operate various programmes aimed at accelerating the growth and development of Inclusive Business, and enhancing the effectiveness of public sector management in Latin America. Our programmes all help to alleviate poverty and inequity, improving the lives of low-income communities across the region.
Monitor Institute is a mission-driven social enterprise. It operates transparently, aiming for social impact and self-sufficiency, leveraging the resources of its parent, Monitor Group, to disseminate best practices in public problem solving and to pioneer ‘next practices’ – breakthrough approaches to pressing social and environmental challenges.
SNV and INCAE Business School have an agreement and framework for exploring opportunities for joint activities. Together, we work to create and consolidate knowledge about poverty reduction and raise awareness among Latin American leaders.

In the short and medium term, the agreement will yield specific actions in terms of research, forums and other dialogue-based events, on both a national and regional level.
INCAE is a private, non-profit, multinational higher education institution, which focuses on teaching and research in the fields of business administration and economics.
