Profitable SME Lending:
SNV reached an agreement with the Center for International Development (CID) at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University to launch an ‘Entrepreneurial Financial Lab (EFL)’ in Latin America. The EFL develops and tests a technology to evaluate the entrepreneurial potential of applicants for small business financing in developing countries.

The CID was established in 1998 to serve as Harvard’s primary centre for research on sustainable international development, drawing upon faculty staff and researchers from numerous academic disciplines.
