Elida Carolina Rapalo joined SNV in 2007 as Management Assistant for SNV Honduras. She has experience as a secretary, assistant for the Human Resources Department, and Coordinator of Training in Hotel Clarion and Princesa. She was also the secretary to the Mayor of Tegucigalpa and secretary of the Human Resources Department for the Family Allocation Programme. She is a bilingual secretary who has worked in both the public and private sectors.

Juan Carlos Rodríguez, Advisor in Economic Development for SNV Peru in charge of inclusive business in the Peru's Amazon region, has 10 years of professional experience, 8 of them in MSE projects. He was an IDB Consultant in charge of monitoring and supervising the “Pasos de Frontera Perú-IIRSA” project at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru; Microfinance Coordinator of the Peruvian Social Fund (FONCODES); General Coordinator at Pirka NGO, ADEX/USAID–MSP Alliance; and Loan Officer and Planning & Development Assistant at Daewoo Corporation. He is currently a PhD candidate in economics at San Marcos University and holds a master’s degree in business administration from ESAN University. He earned his degree in economics from the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega University. He has diplomas in applied statistics and microfinance from the Catholic University of Peru and in projects, marketing and finance from the Universidad Pacífico. He is the author of “A Model to Evaluate the Performance of Rural MFI” and “Financial Management Guide for MFI.”

Teresa Ruiz, Advisor in Governance for SNV, has held advisory and technical assistance posts in international development organizations and her work has focused on cooperatives, associations of municipalities, and management positions in meso education institutions of the public sector for the development of advocacy capacities, financial resource management, and the articulation of strategies and actions between the public and private sectors. She has been an advisor to cooperatives, municipalities, and associations of municipalities. She holds a MS in decentralization and local development.
