Mauricio J. Quintanilla, a Bolivian industrial engineer who is now Advisor in Market Access for the Sucre-Potosí portfolio in SNV-Bolivia, has ten years experience managing, developing and administering development and agricultural business projects. He worked as Economic Development Coordinator in CARE-Bolivia, in the framework of the Tri-national Amazon Program, which included activities and actions striving for sustainable development and promoting the adoption of best socio-economic strategies conserving biodiversity in the Bolivian, Peruvian and Brazilian Amazon region. He was manager of the social enterprise that develops the agroproduction links for spices in the valleys of Bolivia in the framework of the FDTA-Valles-Socodevi-Agrocentral agreement. He holds a master’s degree in international business and trade from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Private Bolivian University, as well as a master’s degree in corporate management and a diploma in project management in market and sales. He is the author of “Export potential in agroproduction chains of the microregion of Bolivian valleys” and “Steps and procedures for border customs clearance at Tambo Quemado.”
