Dario Oyuela Position: Advisor Country: Honduras Email: doyuela001@snvworld.org Darío Oyuela has professional experience in the sustainable production of biofuels (energy crops: Jatropha curcas, corncob, African palm tree), environmental management, strategic planning processes, citizen participation, accountability and social audits, professional training in agriculture, livestock raising and forestry, development of small rural businesses, sustainable agricultural production systems, integral water resource management, project drafting and management, cooperativism, agrarian reform, participatory research in agronomy, agricultural outreach, and agricultural and livestock sanitation. He has worked in the public sector in the National Professional Training Institute, at the National Agrarian Institute, the Natural Resources Secretariat, and in the private sector with SNV. He holds a BS in agricultural science from the National School of Agriculture, Olancho, Honduras. He also has a diploma as specialist in pig-breeding outreach from the Latin American Specialization Center in Tulúa, Colombia; a diploma in cooperative business management from the Ibero-American Cooperation Institute in Madrid, Spain; and attended a graduate course on project drafting and management at the Graduate School of the University of Pittsburgh. He participated in the following publication: “Mechanisms for the development of small rural enterprises for pig-breeding and management.” |
